$62.00 per hour
Travel RN – Med-Surg / Telemetry / Acute Care

Job Type: Travel | Contract | Temporary
Contract: 13 weeks, with possible 13-week extension
Start Dates: September 7th, 14th, or 21st
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
EMR: Epic required

Position Overview

We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel contract in Med-Surg, Telemetry, PCU, or Acute Care.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
Med-Surg, Telemetry, PCU, Acute Care, or Float Pool experience
Epic experience required
Active RN license OR Multi state / Compact License
BLS certification
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Compensation & Benefits

Weekly gross pay: $2,232/week
Taxable wages plus eligible nontaxable stipends
Weekly pay and per diem options available
Lodging and meals provided, based on assignment terms
Housing and meals may be available for eligible travelers

Final pay, stipends, lodging, and meal benefits depend on location, contract terms, and eligibility.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage patient conditions on the medical-surgical unit, including frequent vital signs, assessment, and timely documentation in EHR systems.
Administer medications, manage IV access, catheters, and basic life support as needed, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Provide direct patient care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate changes in status to physicians and family members.
Perform telemetry monitoring, wound care, specimen collection, and assist with procedures such as cardiac catheterization as directed.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards; ensure accurate charting and handoffs during shift changes.

Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
