Job Title: Data Entry Operator 2 - Floater
Requisition #: 735302-062926 and 735305-062926
Primary Location: Ohio-Franklin County-Columbus
Primary Work Location: 1919 Frank Road, 43223 (will float to 855 W. Mound St. and 4071 E. Main St.)
Bargaining Unit/Non-Bargaining: Bargaining Unit
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p with lunch included
Minimum Starting Salary: $18.13/hour
Posting Start Date: 06/29/2026

What You Will Do – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides support to the Data Management Department by performing clerical-related duties while providing excellent customer service to agency clients. This position requires that the employee reports to different work locations and/or units based on workload as determined by their supervisor.

Performs record checks; enters necessary data from source documents/electronic systems; reviews and processes case information and requests;
Reviews and processes court/legal documents and requests; monitors email boxes; quality assurance; files/scans/uploads documents into the case record/electronic system; maintenance of case records and document repositories (hardcopy/electronic/eye readable format);
Performs receptionist/phone functions.
Performs clerical duties such as (but not limited to) processing cash equivalents, mail, faxes, copies, maintains department appearance,
Maintains all computerized/written logs,
Routine maintenance of all copiers and printers; ensures adequate amount of supplies of all necessary items; provides training to coworkers as needed;
Retrieves/processes fingerprints; and responds to inquiries and requests for information from staff, community professionals and the public. These entries and tasks require editing, correction, interpretation, judgment and when necessary direct consultation with a supervisor to work out problems and correct information prior to entry and/or completion.
Attends training for professional development; attending supervisory, unit, department, and agency meetings and participates accordingly by providing suggestions or ideas at will aid towards timely and effective support services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read/write common vocabulary
At least 4 courses in typing OR 12 months of experience;
OR have at least 4 months of experience as a Data Entry Operator 1.

Preferred Qualifications:

Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Have one year of clerical experience.
Have a typing speed of at least 25 wpm.
Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Have well developed verbal communications skills, problem solving skills and excellent customer service skills.

Certifications or Licensure:

Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, have a reliable automobile and automobile insurance that complies with agency policy
