Job Overview

Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension and electrical components. As a key player in our service department, you will ensure vehicles are operating safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive technology will help deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
Conduct engine repairs, including diesel engine maintenance and automotive engine system troubleshooting.
Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems to diagnose issues accurately.
Carry out vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, shock/strut replacement, spark plug replacement and brake repairs.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for mechanical repairs, welding, and heavy lifting tasks.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive service with a focus on light to medium-duty vehicles.
Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain components, and vehicle systems.
Experience working with automotive electrical systems and interpreting wiring diagrams.
Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, schematics, and diagnostic software for accurate troubleshooting.
Ability to perform diesel engine repair and heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling protocols.
Valid certification in automotive repair or mechanic experience preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
