Full Job Description

Our growing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice is seeking a highly motivated and positive individual with great organizational and communication skills to join our team. Prior dental/medical experience is REQUIRED. A strong work ethic and reliability is necessary.
Candidate must be pleasant, caring, trustworthy with great people skills and ability to work as part of a busy team.
Duties will include answering multi-line phone system, scheduling patients, treatment plans, billing, insurance verification, posting charges and entering payments. Must have the ability to multi task and possess excellent organizational skills. Job would require travel to both our new Albany and Newark offices. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO TRAVEL TO TWO LOCATIONS.

Key Tasks:

Greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling and confirming appointments.

Entering patient information into the office computer system (WinOMS CS software).

Insurance verification, assisting new patients to fill out the registration forms.

Collect and post payments including credit card transactions.

Electronically submitting/preparing insurance claims.

Educating and discussing benefit coverage and payment options of

treatment plans with patients after examination, diagnosis and review by our doctors.

Necessary characteristics in addition to the above are maturity, reliability, pleasant disposition and professional demeanor.

Established practice with excellent long-term employee retention. Modern, efficient, clean offices in Newark, Zanesville, and in New Albany Ohio.

Job Type: Full time or part time hours weekly. Ohio Dental Association health insurance for employee available, profit sharing, 401K and vacation accrual benefits.

Salary: Pay commensurate with skills, background and experience.
