Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant to new heights. This role is all about steering the ship—overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring top-notch customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a knack for team leadership and operational excellence. Duties

Oversee all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning.
Lead hiring, training, and supervising staff members, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Supervise food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across kitchen and dining areas.
Handle cash flow responsibilities such as cash handling, POS system management (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and daily financial reconciliation.
Coordinate shift schedules, manage customer complaints or issues promptly, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Conduct profit and loss analysis to optimize restaurant performance while implementing strategies for growth and efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management roles with a strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant experience or casual dining experience.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety management, and kitchen operations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with cash handling skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising teams, staff training & development, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food industry standards.
Excellent managerial communication skills paired with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Experience with catering is a plus.
