Overview

Independent Contractor Transportation Driver

Same Day Concierge is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Independent Contractor Drivers to provide safe, reliable, transportation for seniors and adults requiring assistance getting to and from appointments.

Our drivers do more than provide transportation—they offer peace of mind. You’ll assist clients from their homes to a wide range of appointments and activities, including personal errands, shopping trips, social outings, beauty and grooming appointments, airport drop‑offs, meetings, and other scheduled commitments. When requested, you’ll remain available during their appointment or outing, then ensure they return home safely and comfortably. Responsibilities

Safely transport clients to and from appointments.
Provide courteous, compassionate, and professional customer service.
Assist clients entering and exiting the vehicle when appropriate.
Escort clients to appointment check-in areas when needed.
Wait with clients during appointments as assigned.
Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding schedules and trip updates.
Ensure vehicles remain clean, organized, and presentable.
Accurately document completed trips using company systems.
Follow all HIPAA privacy and confidentiality requirements.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Perform basic vehicle inspections before each shift.
Represent Same Day Concierge with professionalism at all times.

Skills & QualificationsRequired

Valid Tennessee driver’s license
Clean driving record
Reliable, well-maintained vehicle
Current automobile insurance
Smartphone with reliable internet access
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to safely assist elderly and mobility-limited clients
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Punctual, dependable, and organized

Preferred

CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
Experience in transportation or customer service
