Full Job Description

SEG Systems, a leading manufacturer and distributor of lightboxes, graphics and retail solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for our Charlotte, NC facility. The right candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem solving abilities, lean manufacturing principles and strong organization skills. We are an aggressively growing company looking for candidates seeking long-term employment that will mature and develop with our business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to build their leadership career in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Production Operations: Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Safety: Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular audits of production processes and facilitate corrective actions.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor manufacturing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Implement Best Practices: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and action plans that align with overall company objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, project management, and graphic operations to enhance operational performance.
Budget Management: Manage budgets for manufacturing operations, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations management or a related field, with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.

Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.

Additional Skills Preferred:

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
Safety Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance within the manufacturing environment.
Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen is advantageous.
Language: Bilingual skills a plus

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
