Accountant I - The Woodlands, TX
ASD Lighting Corp is a rapidly growing lighting manufacturing company, and we are looking for an individual to be part of this exciting growth. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with excellent communication skills to assist in enhancing our customer service experience. We offer opportunities for advancement, and a friendly supportive working environment.
Our ideal candidate will have BS in Accounting, plus 2+ years experience, or 5 years practical experience with Accounting certification, or min 10 years accounting discipline experience with all functions of accounting process.
Your pleasant demeanor and professional image will give you the ability to excel in our team environment.
Accountant Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage and assist AR functions Manage and assist AP functions
Manage and assist Payroll functions
Receive and post payments
Email customers updated invoices for payment
Process and record credit card transactions
Maintain vendor old and new vendor entries
Communicate with customers via emails and phone calls pertaining to AR inquiries
Maintain accurate files in regards to all invoices, receipts, and other customer billing documents
Accountant Qualifications: College degree in Accounting
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fast-learner, results-oriented, curious person who wants to grow and develop with our company
Must possess attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
Self-motivated and the ability to multi-task in a team atmosphere
Listening, analytical and reasoning skills
Must have excellent organizational and follow-up skills
