Full Job Description

Wham & Rogers, PLLC is a law firm in The Woodlands, TX specializing in 18 wheeler truck accidents and other serious injury claims. We are hiring a focused and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our civil litigation practice.

The Litigation Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to our attorneys and paralegals in all aspects of civil litigation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drafting and preparing legal documents (e.g., pleadings, motions, discovery requests)
Communicating with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Scheduling depositions, court hearings, and meetings
E-filing
Maintaining calendars and deadlines
Ordering and tracking medical records
Preparing trial exhibits and trial notebooks

Ideal candidates possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Five years' paralegal experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (emphasis on grammar, spelling, and clarity)
Experience using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other database services
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strict adherence to all firm policies

Compensation & Benefits

Salary— $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience
