Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Chef / Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of food operations within our establishment. This role combines creative culinary leadership with effective restaurant management, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding service, and a vibrant dining atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for quality service, supervisory skills, and extensive experience in food production, catering, and hospitality management. As a pivotal member of our team, you will drive culinary excellence while managing daily operations to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Coordinate catering menus, banquets, and special functions in collaboration with the general manager with attention to detail and timely execution.
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment focused on teamwork and high standards.
Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency, creativity, and quality aligned with brand standards.
Manage inventory control and food safety procedures, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and adherence to health regulations.
Supervise shift management activities such as scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Implement training programs for staff development in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation across all kitchen areas while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in banquet and catering environments with strong culinary skills in food production and presentation.
Extensive supervisory experience managing kitchen staff in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or catering services.
Demonstrated expertise in banquet experience, event catering, and large-scale food service operations.
Knowledge of inventory management systems, food safety protocols (including HACCP), and dietary department procedures.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Background in restaurant management or hospitality industry roles is highly desirable.
Skilled in menu planning, shift management, kitchen operations, and food handling practices.
