Full Job Description

Office Assistant

Department: Erie Job Status: PT Hourly in person

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Reports To: Jim Connell /VP Erie Operations

Grade/Level: Amount of Travel Required: None

Work Schedule: 20-30 Hours/week Positions Supervised: None

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Change/Enter labor tickets for all hourly associates.

Answer phone and assist main operator during lunch hour in Kansas.

Sort and distribute incoming mail.

Maintain and reconcile Petty Cash.

Maintain office equipment.

Order or enter requisitions for office, janitorial and misc. plant supplies and outside services.

Prepare Thick Film and LED scorecards.

Liaise with HR and Payroll departments for all Erie associates.

Assist with new hire paperwork, orientation, and benefit enrollment.

Plan and coordinate plant and visitor meetings both on and off site.

Provide support for Erie managers and supervisors as required.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned by VP, HR or VP Erie Operations.

Education

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) with general studies in office procedures.

Experience

General office and business experience.

Microsoft Office competency including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.

Visual MFG/Visual Quality/ERP Experience.
