Full Job Description

Our healthcare facility is looking for a Bilingual English and Spanish Speaking medical assistant. This is a requirement for anyone applying.

Whom is motivated and a compassionate Medical Assistant for our BOWIE OFFICE.

Your key roles are supporting our healthcare providers and maintaining excellent patient care. We want someone who enjoys their work and can bring an extraordinarily upbeat attitude every day. You have to be a "people person".

Key Responsibilities
1) Patient care and clinical support like:
Triage patients, assist in preparing patients for examination and treatment, take medical histories, record vital signs, assist with procedures, perform EKGs independently, perform basic laboratory tests

2) Administrative duties such as:
Maintain medical records, handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment

Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, team player, and very computer literate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
