Full Job Description

At Thien Lake Acupuncture, we care a lot about helping people and becoming really good at what we do.

We’re a busy, cash-based clinic in Long Beach focused on fertility, women’s health, chronic pain, neuropathy, autoimmune conditions, and complex chronic cases. We see a high volume of patients and work with cases that most acupuncturists don’t get enough exposure to early in their career.

If you’re looking for a place where you can sharpen your clinical skills, grow your confidence, and be part of a strong team, this could be a great fit.

You won’t have to worry about marketing or trying to find patients. We already have strong systems, support staff, and patient flow in place so you can focus on becoming a better practitioner.

We’re looking for someone who’s coachable, good with people, and wants to grow long term with a team.

What We’re Looking For

Strong communication and people skills
Comfortable educating patients and guiding them through care plans
Coachable and open to feedback
Comfortable in a busy clinic environment treating up to 4 patients an hour
Strong attention to detail and professionalism
Positive attitude and team mentality
Skilled in needling or hungry to improve quickly
Someone looking for a long-term opportunity, not a temporary stop while building another practice

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality acupuncture treatments with consistency and care
Help create a great patient experience
Collaborate with the team on patient care and clinic flow
Continue growing clinically and professionally
Help uphold the standards and culture of the clinic

What We Offer

Full-time salaried exempt position working 4.5 clinic days per week
Starting compensation is $85,000/year with opportunities for growth into leadership and opportunity for a bonus structure to be put into place immediately
Health stipend and 2 weeks PTO
W-2 employee position, not contractor
Structured onboarding along with a fully paid 30-day introductory training period so both sides can make sure this is the right fit and set you up for success
Consistent patient flow so you can focus on practicing instead of marketing
Mentorship, support, and real exposure to complex chronic cases that will accelerate your growth as a clinician

Qualifications

Current and active California acupuncture license
Clean Needle Technique (CNT) certified
Minimum 3 years clinical experience preferred, although exceptional candidates may still be considered
