Full Job Description

At Methodist Health System, our imaging professionals play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. As a CT Technologist, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform advanced imaging procedures that help physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. Your expertise and commitment to quality will directly support positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology while making a meaningful impact at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. Eligible candidates may also qualify for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a CT Technologist, you will:

Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Perform specialized CT imaging techniques as needed
Assist radiologists with CT-guided interventional procedures
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
Verify patient history and prepare patients for imaging procedures
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting a positive patient experience
Support Methodist Health System's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification
One year of CT Technologist experience preferred

WORK SCHEDULE

Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service acute care teaching hospital serving Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and the surrounding communities of southwestern Dallas County. The hospital features a newly expanded emergency department, renovated intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and interventional radiology suite, along with specialized services including a Level III Trauma Center, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit.
