Join Silgan Containers, America’s largest metal food packaging producer, as a Machinist in Sacramento, CA. We’re looking for skilled professionals to operate and maintain precision tooling and CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Operate and maintain CNC grinders, lathes, Bridgeport mills, welders, plasma cutters
Perform tool and die machining using blueprints and precision measuring instruments
Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pumps, and production equipment
Refurbish and rebuild tooling for can-making machinery
Measure and calculate raw material requirements
Catalog and organize production tooling for efficiency
Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with strict manufacturing tolerances
Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures

What We Need

High School Diploma or GED - Trade school preferred
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
