Overview

Crocs is seeking a Creative Director, Partnerships and Collectibles to lead the creative vision and execution behind brand collaborations, limited-edition drops, and collectible storytelling that connect with culture in unexpected ways. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Creative, this role will define how Crocs shows up alongside brands, talent, and cultural voices, creating ideas that balance multiple perspectives while ensuring every partnership feels authentic, additive, and unmistakably Crocs.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader and systems thinker who can build creative concepts that extend across product, packaging, campaign storytelling, e-commerce, visual merchandising, and experience. They are deeply inspired by culture, design, and craft, with a passion for bringing different worlds together through innovative storytelling and collectible experiences. Comfortable navigating complexity across teams, partners, and priorities, this leader maintains clarity of vision while delivering thoughtful, culturally relevant work that reflects Crocs' Wonderfully Unordinary spirit.This role leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for the full creative expression of partnerships, from campaign development across film and photography to packaging, product storytelling, e-commerce, and retail experiences.

What You'll Do
Lead with vision: Define the creative direction for partnerships and collectibles, ensuring every collaboration feels balanced, intentional, and brand-right
Build ideas in partnership: Develop concepts that bring two brands together in harmony, creating something new without compromising either identity
Own the full expression: Oversee creative across campaigns, film, photography, packaging, e-commerce, and retail environments
Champion storytelling: Translate partnership strategy into compelling narratives that drive cultural relevance and consumer excitement
Design for product and drop culture: Shape how collaborations come to life through packaging, collectibles, and in-hand experiences
Lead and inspire teams: Guide a multidisciplinary team across art direction, design, and copy, setting a high bar for both thinking and execution
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Merchandising, and external collaborators to align creative with business and cultural opportunity
Drive craft and consistency: Ensure all outputs reflect a high level of quality, cohesion, and attention to detail across every touchpoint
Navigate complexity: Manage multiple partners, timelines, and expectations while maintaining creative clarity and momentum
Present with impact: Communicate ideas and creative direction confidently to internal leadership and external partners
Stay culturally attuned: Bring awareness of trends, collaborators, and cultural movements to identify meaningful partnership opportunities
Experiment with new tools: Stay curious and open to innovation — exploring how AI, emerging technology, and evolving creative processes can unlock new ways to tell stories and create at scale
What You'll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
At least 10+ years of experience in creative roles across brand, agency, or in-house teams
At least 3+ years leading and developing creative teams
Strong experience in brand collaborations, partnerships, or cultural marketing
Proven ability to lead work across campaigns, packaging, retail, and digital touchpoints
Expert-level art direction, design, and or copywriting skills
Strong storytelling and concept development abilities
Experience working with external partners, collaborators, and talent
Ability to manage complex projects with multiple collaborators
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craft across all outputs
Understanding of consumer insights, trends, and cultural dynamics

Salary or Pay Range: $155,000-$175,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

At Crocs, Inc. we believe in the power of a blend of in-person and virtual collaboration to drive creativity and strengthen relationships. Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.

This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
