Restaurant Manager

The Butcher’s Daughter Deli & Market – Dothan, AL

The Butcher’s Daughter Deli & Market is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations at our upcoming Dothan location. This position plays a key role in building a strong team, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering the high-quality food and hospitality our brand is known for.

We are looking for someone who leads with professionalism, works well under pressure, and takes pride in creating a positive environment for both staff and guests.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Dothan location, including staff leadership, kitchen coordination, food quality, customer service, and overall store performance. This role works closely with ownership and the General Manager to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and upholds the standards of The Butcher’s Daughter brand.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
Hire, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff
Lead employees in a professional and respectful manner while maintaining accountability
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet company standards
Maintain strong ticket times and efficient kitchen workflow
Monitor labor costs and assist with scheduling
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure positive guest experiences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health department standards
Work with ownership to help implement systems and procedures for the new location
Assist with opening preparation for the Dothan store including staff training and operational setup

Qualifications

Previous restaurant management experience required
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Ability to lead peers and staff in a professional manner
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Food safety knowledge (ServSafe certification preferred)

Schedule

Full-time position
Minimum of 40+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation

Salary with yearly increase based on store production
Opportunities for growth within a growing restaurant brand

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
