Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings, utilizing your expertise to promote health, manage acute and chronic conditions, and support patients through their healing journey. Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to inform personalized care plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and injection administration.
Manage complex medical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, ventilator management, and tube feeding to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as emergency rooms, intensive care units (ICU), neonatal units (NICU), outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities to coordinate seamless patient care.
Provide triage services by assessing urgent needs and prioritizing care in emergency medicine or urgent care environments.
Support infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
Proven experience working in diverse healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, critical care (ICU/Trauma Center), emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
Experience with specialized nursing procedures such as dialysis support, cardiology (cardiac catheterization), neurocritical care (PICU), or trauma medicine is highly desirable.
Ability to perform physical examinations, specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques confidently.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching, medication management, pain management strategies, and discharge planning.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Additional experience preferred in areas such as hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, geriatrics—including memory care—and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.
