Epic Tapestry Functional Analyst (Senior / Expert) – Remote

About the Role
We are seeking Senior and Expert Epic Tapestry Functional Analysts to join our growing healthcare IT team. This is a 100% remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere within the United States.
Our primary preference is for professionals with Epic Tapestry experience and a strong background in healthcare payer operations. Candidates should have extensive experience analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, designing functional solutions, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality Epic Tapestry solutions.
While Epic Tapestry certification is highly preferred, we also welcome candidates with active Epic certifications in other modules who have demonstrated experience supporting Tapestry or healthcare payer workflows.
The ideal candidate will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable, efficient, and effective Epic Tapestry solutions throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Analyze current workflows and design optimized Epic Tapestry solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with Application Analysts to implement system enhancements.
- Support application implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution design sessions.
- Coordinate and support Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements and operational objectives.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve production problems.
- Develop workflow diagrams, process documentation, and training materials.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts when appropriate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Epic Analyst, or similar healthcare IT role.
- Strong experience supporting Epic applications in a healthcare environment.
- Extensive experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
- Experience leading workflow analysis, process improvement, and solution design initiatives.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare payer operations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validating functional requirements.
Preferred QualificationsEpic Tapestry experience is highly preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $68.00 per hour
