Field Operations / General Trades Helper
Location: Monticello, Minnesota

About the Position
FOS Field Operations LLC is looking for a dependable, versatile, and hardworking individual to join our team in a permanent, full-time position based around the Monticello, Minnesota area.
We are looking for an all-around helper who is comfortable working in a variety of environments and taking on different types of work. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys variety, can work independently as well as part of a team, and is willing to travel when projects require it.
Responsibilities
Work may include:
- Driving company trucks and towing equipment/trailers
- Welding and metal fabrication
- Interior demolition
- Light remodeling and construction
- Loading, unloading, and moving tools, equipment, and materials
- Jobsite setup and cleanup
- Assisting with field projects and installations
- Operating hand and power tools
- General maintenance and repair work
- Supporting other crew members wherever needed
- Traveling to project locations throughout the United States
Because our projects vary, the ideal candidate should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and helping wherever needed to get the job done.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Class A driver’s license/CDL with the ability to safely tow trucks and trailers
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States
- Ability to be away from home for approximately 5 days at a time
- Dependable transportation to our Monticello-area base
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work
Preferred Experience:
- Welding
- Metal fabrication
- Interior demolition
- Light remodeling/construction
- Truck and trailer operation
- General construction, maintenance, or field-service work
We value someone with a broad skill set who is willing to learn. You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you should be mechanically inclined, comfortable working with your hands, and willing to take on different responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits

Travel Requirements
This position requires flexibility to travel to projects across the country. Trips will typically be approximately 5 days at a time, with potential travel occurring around once per month, depending on project needs.
