Job Title: Sales Representative – Agricultural & Outdoor Equipment

We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our customers and supporting the communities we serve.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, understands the value of exceptional customer service, and has a passion for helping customers find the right equipment for their needs. This position involves developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and representing our family business with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Sell and finance tractors, construction equipment, agricultural implements, lawn mowers, and outdoor power equipment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, agricultural, and municipal customers.
Identify customer needs and recommend equipment and attachments that best fit their applications and budget.
Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, community involvement, and follow-up with existing customers.
Conduct equipment demonstrations and explain product features, benefits, financing, and warranty options.
Prepare quotes, complete finance applications, create sales paperwork, and ensure accurate documentation.
Coordinate with the parts and service departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.
Represent the dealership at trade shows, community events, and customer appreciation events as needed.
Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

Previous sales experience preferred; equipment, agricultural, automotive, or construction industry experience is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer proficiency, including email and customer management software.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Mechanical aptitude or a willingness to learn about equipment operation and applications.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of tractors, construction equipment, lawn and garden equipment, or agricultural machinery.
Experience working with farmers, contractors, landscapers, municipalities, or homeowners.
Ability to operate equipment safely for demonstrations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
