Position Summary
The Vendor Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of Ream Franchise Group’s third- party vendor relationships supporting the Gameday Men’s Health franchise system. With more than 400 clinics open across the United States and Canada and a development pipeline exceeding 1,000 locations,
Gameday’s franchisee network depends on a curated, performant set of national vendors covering compounding pharmacy, laboratory services, medical supplies, EHR and clinic software, marketing technology, IT and cybersecurity, point-of-sale, professional services, and clinic build-out.
This role owns vendor strategy, sourcing, contracting, performance management, and renewal cycles for
the franchisor entity and acts as the central point of escalation for vendor issues that affect franchisees
system-wide. The Vendor Manager will work closely with Operations, Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal, and
the Franchise Support team to ensure that approved vendors deliver consistent quality, competitive
pricing, and timely service across the network.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Strategy & Sourcing
- Develop and maintain the approved vendor list (AVL) for the Gameday franchise system across all vendor categories, including healthcare-adjacent vendors (compounding pharmacies, labs, medical supplies, pharmaceutical distributors) and corporate services (IT, marketing, software, professional services).
- Identify vendor consolidation opportunities and negotiate national/master service agreements that produce cost savings for both the franchisor and franchisees while preserving brand standards.
- Lead RFP and RFQ processes for new vendor categories or replacement vendors, including evaluation criteria, scoring, reference checks, and final recommendation to leadership.
- Stay current on the men’s health, hormone therapy (TRT), compounding pharmacy, andtelehealth vendor landscapes; proactively identify emerging vendors and technologies that align with Gameday’s clinical and operational standards.
Contract Management
- Negotiate, execute, and renew vendor contracts in partnership with legal counsel; track all contract terms, pricing schedules, SLAs, auto-renewal dates, and termination rights in a centralized vendor management system.
- Ensure all vendor agreements include appropriate provisions for franchisee participation, pricing transparency, HIPAA/BAA terms where applicable, data security, indemnification, and termination.
- Maintain a contract calendar and proactively initiate renewal discussions 90–120 days before contract expiration to preserve leverage and avoid lapses.
Vendor Performance & Compliance
- Establish KPIs and scorecards for top-tier vendors; conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with critical vendors and document outcomes.
- Serve as the central escalation point for franchisee complaints regarding national vendors; investigate, resolve, and report recurring issues to the vendor’s leadership.
- Verify and maintain documentation of vendor compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including state pharmacy board licensing for compounding partners, lab accreditation (CLIA/CAP), HIPAA business associate agreements, COI/insurance certificates, anddata security attestations (SOC 2, PCI-DSS where relevant).
- Conduct annual vendor risk assessments and document remediation plans for any vendor flagged as elevated risk.
Franchisee Support
- Communicate vendor program updates, pricing changes, and new vendor additions to franchisees through the franchise support portal, newsletters, and franchisee conferences.
- Provide onboarding assistance to new franchisees in setting up accounts with approved vendors during clinic build-out and grand opening.
- Field and respond to franchisee vendor questions, escalations, and special pricing requests.
- Track franchisee adoption of preferred vendors and report adoption rates to leadership.
Financial & Reporting
- Manage vendor-related spend for the franchisor entity; partner with Finance on accruals, budgeting, and vendor payment processes.
- Track and report rebates, volume discounts, and marketing development funds (MDF) fromvendor partners.
- Provide monthly and quarterly vendor performance and savings reports to the executive team.
- Maintain auditable records of all vendor selection decisions, contracts, performance data, and compliance documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations to ensure vendors support clinic-level operational needs and SOPs.
- Partner with Marketing on vendor relationships for advertising platforms, creative agencies, and martech.
- Partner with IT/Tech on software vendors, including the EHR, scheduling, and CRM platforms.
- Partner with Legal Counsel on contract review, BAAs, and risk allocation.
- Partner with the Franchise Development team to onboard new franchisees and align vendor needs with growth planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing, with at least 2 years in a role with national or multi-location vendor accountability.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing master service agreements with measurable cost savings or service-level improvements.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, business associate agreements, and basic healthcare compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), contract lifecycle management or vendor management systems, and standard business communication tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to franchisees, vendors, and the executive team.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills; comfort with financial analysis and reading contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a franchisor environment supporting multi-unit franchisees, or in a multi-location healthcare/retail clinic environment (DSO, MSO, urgent care, med-spa, telehealth, etc.).
- Experience managing compounding pharmacy, clinical lab, or pharmaceutical distribution vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with the EHR, telehealth, or healthcare CRM vendor landscape.
- CPSM, CSCP, CPCM, or comparable procurement or contract management certification.
- MBA or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with vendor management platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, GEP, Ironclad, or similar.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Hybrid office environment headquartered at Ream Franchise Group’s Carlsbad, CA office. The role requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods, participate in virtual meetings, and travel up to 15% of the time for vendor visits, franchisee events, and trade shows. Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
