Join a Mission-Driven Behavioral Health Team

Discovery MSO is seeking a Therapist / Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC, LPC-Associate, or LMSW) to join our behavioral health treatment program in Dallas, Texas.

This position provides therapy and counseling services to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Our mission is to provide accessible, reliable, and effective behavioral health treatment options nationwide, helping individuals build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Responsibilities

Provide individual therapy for clients in treatment
Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational groups
Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans
Document therapy sessions and clinical progress notes
Collaborate with nursing staff, recovery coaches, and clinical leadership
Support discharge planning and continuity of care
Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active Texas license or associate license:
LPC
LPC-Associate (with supervisor)
LCSW
LMSW
LMFT
LMFT-Associate (with supervisor)
LCDC
LCDC-Intern
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (preferred)
Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or mental health preferred
Experience facilitating group therapy preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills
