Full Job Description

Onsite Supervisor / Recruiter

Location: Lancaster, PA 17601
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM*
Pay Rate: $20 –$22.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

About the Role

LaborNow is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Onsite Supervisor / Recruiter to support one of our key food manufacturing clients in Lancaster, PA.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for supporting a workforce of 100+ employees, managing high-volume recruiting and onboarding, overseeing timekeeping and payroll processes, and maintaining a strong day-to-day partnership with our client.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has previous staffing or onsite workforce management experience, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a workforce of 100+ employees, helping maintain attendance, productivity, and workforce stability.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, onsite employees, and the LaborNow team.
Partner closely with client management to understand staffing needs, priorities, and workforce requirements.
Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee retention.
Coordinate new-hire orientations and ensure all required onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Manage employee timekeeping and payroll-related processes, including reviewing hours, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
Address employee relations matters, including coaching, counseling, attendance issues, performance concerns, and policy compliance.
Monitor daily headcount, attendance, call-offs, replacements, and staffing needs.
Conduct safety inspections and participate in client safety meetings and initiatives.
Promote compliance with company policies, client requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within applicable staffing and ATS systems.
Respond quickly and professionally to client and employee concerns.
Assist with additional recruiting, administrative, and operational responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, or onsite workforce management within a high-volume environment.
Previous experience supervising or supporting a large hourly workforce, preferably 100+ employees.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Experience with high-volume recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and retention.
Hands-on experience with timekeeping and payroll processes for a large workforce.
Working knowledge of workplace safety practices and compliance.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferably ClearCompany.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent needs, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working directly at a client site.
Flexibility to work early mornings, overtime, and/or weekends when business needs require.
