Full Job Description

We’re looking for a friendly, organized Dental Office Coordinator to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and creating a welcoming experience for patients, you may be a great fit for our office. We’re looking for someone dependable, positive, and ready to be part of a great team. To reiterate this position will require a significant amount of face-time with patients and phone calls throughout the day. Finding the right personality is our primary focus over having specific qualifications.

Duties:

- This is a Monday through Thursday postion. Hours are 6:30 am - 5:30pm
- Answer incoming calls to assist patients and use computer software to manage scheduling
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling of patients
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize wait times
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

-Treatment and financial planning with patients

- Collecting patient payments

- Preparation of day to day schedule specifics

- Coordination with referring offices

-Eventual duties for less experienced candidates: insurance verification, insurance coordination, insurance claims and payments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficient in using multi line phone systems and computer software. Eaglesoft experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
