Full Job Description

Job Summary
Neurostars is a small, local, clinician-owned company seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team.

What sets us apart from many ABA providers

Average full time caseload of 10 clients (max 12).
Strong compensation and benefits for frontline staff, supporting lower turnover, better continuity of care, and higher client satisfaction.
Direct support staff earn 30-40% above market averages, plus benefits including PTO, paid holidays, weekly pay, and a 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution.
We invest heavily in clinical quality by providing staff with the tools to do their best work, including assessment tools, materials, equipment, and technology designed to improve care delivery and reduce administrative burden.

Neurostars serves clients aged 1-17 in home, school and community settings.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide supervision and clinical support for behavior technicians.
Collaborate with families, schools, and interdisciplinary providers.
Monitor client progress and adjust programming based on data and clinical judgment.
Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Additional Details

Flexible scheduling and protected time for documentation and treatment planning.
Local leadership with direct access to decision-makers.
Telehealth supervision is used selectively, with an emphasis on in-person clinical support.

Requirements

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
Eligible to work as a behavior analyst in California.
Reliable transportation for local travel.
Ability to provide in-person services and supervision within Humboldt County.
Relocation candidates are welcome to apply.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
