Full Job Description

Established Seattle area general contractor is looking for a full time Office Administrator to join our team. Those with experience in the construction industry are encouraged to apply. Duties include:

Subcontractor management including and drafting subcontract agreements
Filing & tracking certified payroll reports (CPR) from subs
Subcontractor Approval Application forms and documentation preparation
Communication with agencies (L&I, City of Seattle)
Notifying and tracking subcontractor close-out process.
Organize and track job and vehicle damage claims
Send and track liability release and payments
Manage maintenance vendors and site service, copier support and maintenance.
Security system maintenance
Manage key inventory, phone lists and email
Water/maintain plants
Answering phones, sorting mail, ordering and stocking office supplies
Technical Support lead and troubleshooting
Administer accounts, server and physical files
Responsible for all events planning for the office
Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication skills - verbal and written communication skills including strong comprehension and use of grammar
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Problem resolving customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Foundation software and web-based city programs
Two years of related experience required- office or administrative support preferred
Construction industry related experience (preferred)
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer

Pay is $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, DOE
