Full Job Description

Automotive Bookkeeper

The Accounting Bookkeeper Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also managing various administrative tasks. This role requires knowledge of accounting practices, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Tasca Automotive Group is a fast-growing, family-owned company seeking a detailed, motivated individual to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Post funding entries obtained from daily bank statements.

Reconcile bank statements daily and monitor cash flow.

Generate and reconcile salesperson’s commission reports for payroll processing.

Generate floor plan reports and process payoffs within daily budget allotments.

Monthly floor plan reconciliations to the bank statements.

Reconcile various general ledger schedules as needed.

Reconcile monthly reserve statements.

Process monthly sales tax returns and process to government websites.

Provide administrative support to management and other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a willingness to learn and collaborate in a team setting.

Prior experience of dealership operations.

General knowledge of accounting procedures.

Prior experience in bookkeeping/accounting, preferably in the automobile industry or related field.

Prior CDK software experience is helpful, but willing to train the right individual.

Experience with Microsoft office and excel.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks by priority in a fast-paced environment.

High level of attention to detail and organization.

Work Environment:

This is an in-office position, remote work is not available.
