Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef / Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your leadership skills and culinary expertise will help maintain our standards of excellence while fostering a positive and energetic kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and creativity, ensuring all food meets quality standards.
Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to maintain efficient workflow and uphold food safety protocols.
Oversee food production processes, including inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction to optimize kitchen operations.
Support menu planning efforts by contributing ideas for new dishes and seasonal specials that align with restaurant themes and customer preferences.
Manage shift responsibilities such as coordinating food service, monitoring kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions, ensuring inclusive menu options.
Lead by example in practicing excellent food handling, safety standards, and hospitality practices to deliver outstanding service.

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining environments or similar high-end culinary settings.
Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a kitchen or food service operation.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management principles.
Familiarity with banquet service, catering operations, and event food production is highly desirable.
Knowledge of inventory control, food safety regulations, and dietary considerations to ensure quality and compliance.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team under pressure.
