Full Job Description

Wilson Manufacturing is a Family-owned business that has been headquartered right here in St. Louis since 1979, located at 4725 Green Park Road, St Louis, MO 63123 in the heart of South County.

We are hiring for Entry-Level Machine Operators - no experience required, we do on the job training for most positions. We have multiple positions available and will find the right fit for you based on your skills, abilities, and experiences. Our positions range from CNC Lathe or Mill Operator, Cylindrical Grinder, Tool Sharpener, and Quality Control - just to name a few.

We have positions available on all shifts: 1st Shift (6:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday) 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday) 3rd Shift (11:30pm to 6:30am starting Sunday night and ending Friday morning), and Weekend Shift (6:30am-6:30pm Saturday to Monday). Shift differentials apply to 2nd shift, 3rd shift and Weekend shift. These are set schedules, so no need to wonder what hours or days you will work when planning for time off.

Entry Level Operator positions start at $16.00 an hour, that can go up depending on skills, abilities, and job history. Reviews after 60 days evaluate your progress and at that time you are eligible for benefits.

Requirements:

Aptitude for Math and Problem Solving

Basic Computer Skills

Mechanics – You will be using basic hand tools while on the job

Ability to communicate both verbally and on the computer

Can work individually and in a team

Ability to perform tasks that involve occasional lifting not exceeding 50 pounds
