Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garde Manger (Cold Station Cook) to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for the preparation and presentation of cold dishes, including antipasti, salads, crudo, composed plates, and other seasonal offerings.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, an eye for elegant presentation, and a passion for Italian cuisine. You will work within a disciplined, chef-owner led environment where every plate reflects care, consistency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the garde manger station with precision, consistency, and professionalism.
Prepare and plate antipasti, salads, crudo, cold appetizers, and seasonal specialties according to chef specifications.
Maintain exceptional presentation standards and attention to detail.
Ensure proper mise en place and station organization throughout service.
Monitor product quality, freshness, and proper storage procedures.
Follow all sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
Communicate effectively with culinary team members to ensure smooth service.
Adapt to evolving menus, seasonal ingredients, and refined culinary techniques.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in a garde manger, pantry, or fine dining line cook position preferred.
Experience with Italian cuisine and seasonal ingredients is highly desirable.
Strong knife skills and understanding of food presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness.
Professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
