Full Job Description

Join Our Automotive Accounting Team!

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk / Dealership Biller to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate will have dealership accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately process vehicle deals while supporting the accounting department in daily operations.

Responsibilities

Bill new and used vehicle deals accurately and efficiently.
Review deals for completeness and ensure all required documentation is included.
Process funding packages and maintain deal schedules.
Verify commissions, payoffs, rebates, incentives, and lender documentation.
Reconcile accounting schedules and assist with month-end closing activities.
Post vehicle sales transactions and maintain accounting records.
Process title and registration documentation as needed.
Work closely with sales, finance, and management teams to resolve discrepancies.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting duties.
Maintain compliance with dealership policies and accounting procedures.

Qualifications

Previous automotive dealership accounting experience required.
Billing experience preferred.
Knowledge of dealership accounting principles and processes.
Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar DMS systems preferred.
Strong data entry and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
