Full Job Description

BrightStar Care of Flower Mound is looking for several caregivers to join our award-winning team! We are needing help on all shifts with a client who lives in the Flower Mound area.

Candidates must have at least a year of experience providing personal care for the elderly. Professional experience is highly preferred.

We make sure our caregivers are taken care of with a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
Accompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and reporting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Valid CPR Certificate
Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with reliable vehicle
Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
Mandatory CEU’s
Must be eligible status on AHCA level 2 background check
Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
