Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Front Desk Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the administrative/front office team. This role ensures exceptional patient service, efficient scheduling, proper billing and insurance processes, and smooth front office operations at all times.

The Front Desk Lead is responsible for leadership, accountability, communication, and team development. This position includes hiring, training, coaching, supervising, disciplining, and making termination recommendations regarding front office staff. The Front Desk Lead also serves as the communication bridge between the front office team and practice ownership/management.

This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, professionalism, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to maintain office standards and protocols consistently.

Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and work ethic.
Maintain office standards, systems, and protocols.
Ensure front office staff remains productive and compliant with office policies.
Foster teamwork and communication between departments.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Support and develop team members through coaching and training.
Address staff performance concerns promptly and appropriately.

The Front Desk Lead position assumes the individual is already highly competent in all front office responsibilities. Leadership performance is evaluated not only on personal job performance but also on the overall effectiveness of the department and team.
