Position: Landscape Digital Marketing Specialist
Pay: $22-$24/hour
Reports To: Marketing Directors

Job Description:
The Bath Landscape Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the planning and creation of social media campaigns for Bath Landscape & Irrigation. This includes but is not limited to content creation specific to Google My Business, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
It will be required for the Digital Marketing Specialist to have a strong understanding of each channel and how to effectively create content that is appropriate to each channel and accounts for the differences between channels.
The position also requires a strong understanding of SEO, keyword strategy, website maintenance, and a good sense of current and upcoming trends. Strong customer service skills will also be necessary for this position. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for politely and effectively fielding customer inquiries, complaints, etc. through our Bath Landscape digital media channels. This position will require an individual who is self-motivated and works well on their own, while also being able to receive guidance from the Marketing Directors, work with other members of staff to develop the social media schedule, and coordinate content to flow seamlessly with other marketing efforts within the Landscape division.
Job Duties and Essential Functions:
Website Maintenance: Updating copy, publishing blog posts, troubleshooting basic formatting issues, and ensuring a smooth user experience (UX).
SEO Management: Keyword research, on-page optimization (meta tags, headers, alt text), monitoring search rankings, and executing link-building or local SEO strategies.
Social Media Strategy: Manage all social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Creating, scheduling, and analyzing organic or paid campaigns across platforms to build community and drive traffic back to the website.
Digital Marketing: Aligning web and social efforts with broader marketing goals, which may include email marketing and newsletters, and basic paid ad management.
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that caters to the target audience and aligns with the goals of each department.
Create content that is original and engaging.
Ability to periodically drive to jobsites to photograph projects that are both finished and in-process.
Social and willing to engage with staff and customers to produce people-oriented content.
Post relevant and accurate content across all social media channels, including but not limited to images, full-length videos, reels, etc., that increase our audience and drive engagement.
Work closely with other department managers to determine relevant content and provide followers with timely and accurate information.
Monitor and engage with our community of followers by promptly and politely responding to all messages, comments, and the like.
Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, using such information to adjust the overall strategy when necessary.
Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices and bring new ideas and insights regarding how to continuously grow our following.
Ability to match the message, tone, and branding to appropriately represent the company and its divisions across all social media channels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in social media management is preferred.
Knowledge of or experience with trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, gardening, and landscaping is a plus.
Exceptional writing skills with a comprehensive understanding of proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Experience using web platforms such as Wix, WordPress, or Squarespace is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience using photography equipment such as a DSLR camera, GoPro, and photo editing software such as Photoshop and Lightroom.
Experience making graphics and using graphic design software such as Photoshop and Canva.
Experience in videography and common video editing programs.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and department managers.
Able to also work independently to maintain an effective and consistent social media presence.
Self-motivated and willing to learn about the many facets of the Landscape industry to be able to provide accurate and thorough information.
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to adapt and adjust to an ever-changing environment.
Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
