Florida Linen — Pompano Beach, FL | Part-time | 20+ hours per week | $18.00 per hour | On-site

About the Role

Florida Linen is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Office Assistant to support our accounting team. This is a hands-on role focused on accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry, along with general administrative support that keeps our office running smoothly.

We offer a flexible schedule — 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with start and end times you help set. Whether you're looking for mornings, afternoons, or a few longer days, we can work with you.

What You'll Do

Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on schedule
Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips, and follow up on discrepancies
Maintain vendor and customer records, including W-9s and updated contact information
Prepare, organize and file invoices, statements, and check runs for review
Track outstanding receivables and assist with routine customer payment follow-up
Build and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for tracking, reporting, and reconciliation support
Scan, file, and maintain accounting records so documentation is complete and easy to retrieve
Provide general office support to the accounting team as needed

What We're Looking For

Prior experience with AP/AR data entry
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, sorting and filtering, basic formulas)
Attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet recurring deadlines
Clear, professional communication with vendors, customers, and coworkers
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to have: experience in a linen, uniform, laundry, hospitality, or distribution environment; familiarity with accounting software; coursework in accounting or bookkeeping.
