Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are picked, packed, and labeled according to company standards. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently pick orders from designated areas within the warehouse using hand-held scanners or pick lists.
Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications to ensure quality control.
Pack selected items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
Label packages correctly and prepare them for delivery or storage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist with inventory management by reporting any discrepancies or damaged items.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for counting and measuring items accurately.
Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods during shifts.
Perform physical duties, including lifting/carrying objects weighing a minimum of 65 pounds
Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
