Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will contribute to creating memorable dining moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively environment that celebrates food, drink, and great company.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of guest preferences
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards in both casual and fine dining settings
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness throughout service
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with basic math skills
Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a fast-paced environment
Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS, Square POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy service periods
Previous experience in serving roles including host/hostess duties or bartending is advantageous
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for better understanding of menu items
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and team members
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in a dynamic hospitality environment
