Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Manager and lead the culinary operations of a fast-paced, vibrant food service environment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, ensure top-quality food preparation, and maintain exceptional customer service standards. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while managing all aspects of kitchen management with precision and enthusiasm. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated culinary professional eager to make a significant impact in a lively hospitality setting.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Oversee food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance skills, teamwork, and efficiency
Utilize POS systems such as Cake POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive team environment

Experience

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising teams in a hospitality or food service setting
Familiarity with POS systems including Cake POS and for transaction processing and reporting
Prior experience in inventory control, food safety management, and budget oversight within a restaurant or catering operation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently
Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and health regulations applicable to the food industry
Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments with banquet or catering experience is highly desirable
