Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Multi Family Assistant Manager to join our vibrant property management team. In this role, you will be the key support for property operations, ensuring exceptional resident experiences while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming community atmosphere, streamline administrative processes, and support leasing activities. Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations
Support lease administration processes by preparing contracts, renewals, and legal documentation with precision and attention to detail
Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other legal requirements
Handle customer service inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and courtesy
Conduct property tours, upselling available units to prospective residents while emphasizing community benefits
Manage conflict resolution effectively through negotiation skills and conflict management techniques
Assist with property maintenance coordination, vendor communication, and facilities management tasks
Maintain organized filing systems and perform administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping in accordance with legal standards
Support leasing efforts through sales techniques and customer relationship management to maximize occupancy rates

Experience

Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles preferred
Familiarity with landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and LIHTC compliance required
Hands-on experience with Yardi, OneSite or similar property management software is highly desirable
Strong background in customer service, conflict management, negotiation, and contracts is essential
Office experience involving data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support is necessary
Knowledge of facilities management practices and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
