Full Job Description

Job Title: Property Manager – 200+ Unit Complex (Savannah Area)

Company Overview: An active and growing property management company is seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee a 200+ unit complex in the Savannah area. We are looking for an individual with a passion for property management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.

Job Description: As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the property under the supervision of the Director of Property Management. Your role includes handling all aspects of the property’s administration and maintenance, ensuring it remains in excellent condition and operates efficiently, both physically and financially. You will also manage personnel and resources to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure residents are provided with a safe, clean, and well-maintained community.
Supervise and manage outside contractors performing work on the property.
Learn and effectively operate property management software programs.
Conduct tenant screening processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Enforce and maintain Fair Housing standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and maintain the condition of the rental office, models, and rent-ready units.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of property management experience, preferably in a multifamily setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
Ability to communicate effectively with property owners, vendors, and tenants.
Strong customer service and team management skills.
Ability to solve resident and personnel issues with sound judgment and decision-making.
Strong work ethic and reliable follow-through on tasks and projects.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous multifamily property management experience.
Ability to maintain a stable fiscal operation while managing a property’s physical condition.
Excellent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build relationships and foster a positive community environment for both residents and staff.
