REPORTS TO - Chief Executive Officer (direct). Works in lockstep with — and executes the department priorities of — the VP of Capital Formation

DIRECT REPORTS - 1–2 Marketing Coordinators; Videographer / Visual Media Coordinator

RISE48 Equity is a vertically integrated multifamily real estate investment firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since 2019 we have completed more than $2.6B in transactions across 65-plus assets and 12,000-plus units, focused on value-add multifamily in high-growth Sun Belt markets including Phoenix, Dallas, and Charlotte. We raise capital from a nationwide base of accredited and high-net-worth investors and manage our assets through our in-house construction, property management, and asset management platform. We are building a best-in-class investment-marketing function to power the next phase of our growth.

Position Summary

We are looking for a true marketing leader to own and elevate RISE48’s investment-marketing function end to end. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for building the brand, generating and nurturing qualified investor relationships, and — above all — driving the capital-formation results that fuel our growth. You report directly to the CEO and work in lockstep with our VP of Capital Formation, executing the priorities the VP sets for the department (marketing is the brand and demand-generation engine; capital formation is the sales engine). You will lead a small, high-caliber in-house team supported by specialist agencies. Your compensation is directly tied to the capital our efforts help raise.

This is a rare opportunity to take a firm with exceptional reach and a strong founder brand and build the owned-audience, data-driven, AI-enabled marketing machine that converts that reach into raised capital.

Key Responsibilities

Own the strategy. Design and execute the full investment-marketing strategy across brand, content, digital, events, and lifecycle — measured on qualified investor leads, pipeline, and marketing-attributed equity raised.
Build the owned-audience engine. Stand up lead magnets, an owned email list, and multi-stage nurture sequences; convert social and podcast reach into an audience we own and control.
Partner with — and execute for — Capital Formation. Take direction from the VP of Capital Formation and deliver what the department needs; align marketing tightly with the investor sales motion — funnel design, investor journey, CRM, and hand-offs — so marketing measurably accelerates raises.
Scale the founder and firm brand. Run a systematic personal-brand program for the CEO and principals (LinkedIn, short-form video, podcast repurposing) and build a bench of voices to reduce key-person risk.
Systematize content. Turn scattered output into a disciplined, repurposed cadence (flagship long-form → short-form clips → newsletter → blog), and evaluate launching an owned RISE48 show.
Launch a signature research asset. Create a proprietary, branded, recurring market-research franchise (with the underwriting/analytics team) that earns press, backlinks, and advisor referrals.
Build the martech + AI stack. Select and implement CRM and lifecycle automation with AI-driven personalization; instrument the full path from activity to lead to verified investor to dollars raised.
Own events. Develop investor webinars, a flagship annual investor summit, and intimate UHNW / family-office dinners in target markets.
Protect trust, claims, and compliance. Keep marketing claims aligned with filings and counsel (including 506(b)/506(c) requirements), maintain a transparent track-record presentation, and run a proactive reputation-management program.
Lead the team and agencies. Hire, coach, and manage the coordinators and videographer; own the budget and specialist-agency relationships (paid media, PR, design, web).

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

The owned investor email list and automated nurture engine are live and growing.
A modern CRM / martech stack is in place with clear marketing-to-capital attribution and reporting.
A signature RISE48 research asset has launched and generated earned media.
The founder personal-brand program runs on a consistent cadence with measurable engagement.
Marketing-attributed investor leads and equity raised are up and reported jointly with Capital Formation.

Required Qualifications

7+ years in marketing with a proven record of driving measurable revenue, customer, or capital growth — including team leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a marketing team and set strategy (not a senior individual contributor stepping into first-time management).
Strong command of funnel, CRM, lifecycle/email marketing, and marketing analytics/attribution.
Active, sophisticated use of modern AI tools to optimize content, personalization, and efficiency.
Excellent creative and storytelling instincts paired with rigorous, data-driven decision-making.
Willingness to work on-site full-time in Scottsdale and operate hands-on in a fast-scaling environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience marketing to accredited / high-net-worth investors at a real estate private-equity firm, syndicator, alternative-investment manager, fintech, or wealth/financial-services brand.
Working knowledge of securities-marketing rules (Reg D 506(b)/506(c), general solicitation, accreditation verification).
Track record building an owned audience, a podcast/research franchise, or a founder personal-brand program from scratch.
Experience standing up marketing automation and AI-driven personalization at scale.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive market base salary (target range $140,000–$175,000, commensurate with experience) plus a performance bonus of approximately 25–40% of base tied to lead-to-invest conversion and equity raised, plus carried-interest participation and GP co-investment for meaningful long-term upside. For an exceptional, more senior candidate, the title and total package can flex upward. Full benefits, on-site collaborative culture, and significant growth opportunity as the marketing function scales.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
