Full Job Description

The Arizona Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ACBVI) is seeking an experienced Disability Housing Specialist to join our outstanding team of professionals who are committed to serving adults that have recently lost their vision and/or vision & hearing achieve independence and return to work. ACBVI is very much an agency driven by the fact that our clients don't care how much you know until they know how much you care- i.e. we lead with our passion and follow-up with our skills. Your compassionate approach will help advance our mission by providing our clients with assistance in navigating housing concerns, including finding and maintaining safe, afforable housing and connecting to community support.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience managing a caseload of individuals with housing needs. At least 1 year of working with people with disabilities is also required. The proper candidate will have a can-do attitude and also possess a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling or Social Work, a Commission of Rehabilitation Counseling Certification (CRCC), is a CVRT or CLVS certified by ACVREP, or has an NCRTB.

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity that requires passing both a State and Federal (FBI) background check.
