Full Job Description

MAD Hospitality, LLC, a Hospitality organization headquartered and operating in beautiful downtown Madison, GA, is seeking experienced Line Cooks.

MAD Hospitality is focused on excellent customer service and superior food and beverage offerings in unique and inviting venues. Teamwork is a cornerstone of our service philosophy. We are seeking to invest in professional, motivated, and forward-thinking team members not only to be a part of operating this multi-faceted enterprise, but also to create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive work environment.

As a Line Cook, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Follow Manager's instructions
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook and follow menu recipes, ensuring the food comes out correctly
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Preparing all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
Preparing assigned items according to the Prep Lists set by management.
Properly measuring and assembling ingredients required for preparing the standard recipes.
Using scales to ensure proper portioning of food items.
Minimizing waste of products.
Accepting or rejecting ingredients based on quality and quantity.
Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining refrigerator, prep room, and storage area.
Other tasks assigned
Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast pace environment
Advanced knife skills (preferred but not required)
Strong problem-solving skills, communication and time management ability
A focus on the details, especially food quality, food safety and sanitation
An active ServSafe Food Safety Certificate

* Must be flexible to work any day of the week. Weekends and Holidays are a must.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Pay: Competitive ($17.00-$20.00/hr)
