Commercial Lightning Protection (CLP) is a leading commercial lightning protection contractor serving customers throughout the Southeast. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Management Coordinator to support our Operations and Project Management teams. This role is responsible for coordinating projects from kickoff through closeout while ensuring project documentation, safety compliance, customer communication, and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate enjoys managing multiple priorities, thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, and takes pride in keeping projects organized and moving forward.

What You'll Do

Coordinate project setup and customer communication following project award.
Review contracts and identify project-specific requirements.
Coordinate site access, badging, background checks, drug testing, certified payroll, OCIP/CCIP requirements, and project documentation.
Prepare and submit AHA's, JHA's, safety packets, and other required project documentation.
Organize and maintain project files within company software and filing systems.
Coordinate project closeout documentation, O&M manuals, certifications, and customer closeout packages.
Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, material tracking, and inventory coordination.
Track project metrics and prepare operational reports.
Support project managers throughout the project lifecycle from kickoff to closeout.
Coordinate employee safety training and certification renewals.
Maintain safety, equipment, vehicle, and inspection logs.
Coordinate ordering of safety equipment and uniforms.
Ensure project safety documentation is completed and submitted according to customer requirements.
Process employment and onboarding paperwork for site access.
All other tasks as assigned by mangement.

What You Have

Minimum 1 year of administrative experience in the construction industry (required).
Experience supporting construction operations, project management, or field teams.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.

Nice to Have

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project management or continuous improvement certifications.
Experience with construction project management software or ERP systems.
Familiarity with construction documentation, certified payroll, project closeout processes, and safety compliance.
Experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment.
