Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients via phone, email, web inquiries, and walk-ins.
- Conduct detailed interviews to gather case information and assess eligibility based on firm criteria.
- Utilize empathetic listening and consultative communication techniques to build trust and rapport.
- Apply persuasive, ethical sales skills to convert leads into signed clients.
- Explain the legal process clearly and set accurate expectations.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in case management software.
- Collaborate with attorneys and Paralegals to ensure smooth case transitions.
- Follow up with undecided leads and re-engage cold leads as appropriate.
- Meet or exceed monthly conversion and intake targets.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the firm's professional and ethical standards.
- Answering incoming calls within a timely manner.
- Processing outgoing mail/certified mail.
- Processing incoming mail.
- Requesting medical records/medical billing.
- Processing outgoing invoice/check copies.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of experience in client intake, sales, customer service, or call center environment.
- Prior experience in legal or medical field a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance metrics in a client-facing or sales-driven role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills supported by effective interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in fast paced work environment.
- Self-starter and eager to learn.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and compassionate under pressure or when speaking with potential clients.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and commitment to providing exemplary customer service.
- Experience with multi-line phone system is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good computer skills and willingness to learn new computer programs.
- Tech-savvy ability to use cloud-based tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Case management software experience a plus.
