About Us

Greenville Transitions is a structured men’s sober living program serving young adult men in early recovery from substance use disorders.

We believe recovery requires accountability, structure, brotherhood, and example. Our staff don’t just supervise — they model what sustainable recovery looks like.

If you are someone who believes in second chances, structure, and leading by example, this role may be for you.

The Role

The Recovery Coach is a non-clinical, peer-support position responsible for maintaining structure, accountability, and culture inside a men’s residential recovery home.

This is not a desk job. It is hands-on, relational, and requires emotional maturity, consistency, and leadership.

You will:

Model a healthy, recovery-oriented lifestyle
Enforce house rules and curfew
Maintain structure and accountability
Provide mentorship and support to residents
Conduct house checks and drug screenings
Document incidents and shift activity
Respond appropriately to relapse or crisis situations

This position operates inside a shared men’s residential environment. Applicants must be comfortable working directly in that setting.

Transportation Responsibilities (Company Vehicle Provided)

Recovery Coaches transport residents to:

Work
Recovery meetings
Therapy and medical appointments
Gym and structured activities
Essential errands

You must:

Maintain a clean driving record
Meet company insurance requirements
Drive safely and professionally
Maintain appropriate supervision and boundaries during transport
Follow all vehicle safety protocols

No personal use of company vehicle.

Schedule

Shift-based role
Includes overnights
Partial live-in during assigned shifts
Evening and weekend availability required

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Clean motor vehicle record
Strong time management and professionalism

Required (Within 90 Days)

CPR
First Aid
Crisis Prevention
Peer Support certification (if applicable)

Professional Expectations

Maintain strict professional boundaries
No fraternization or dual relationships
No financial or personal arrangements with residents
Maintain composure in high-stress situations
Communicate proactively with leadership
