Core Responsibilities

Configure and run CNC milling and lathe machines to produce metal parts
Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and project requirements
Input raw materials and ensure workpieces are correctly aligned for production
Adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal precision and part quality
Utilize precision instruments like gauges, micrometers, and calipers to verify finished components
Oversee machinery performance during active production cycles
Help ensure consistent output by performing regular quality inspections and spotting tooling errors
Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the workspace tidy
Collaborate with fellow machinists to ensure we hit our collective production targets

Candidate Qualifications

Proven background in CNC operations is essential
Direct experience machining metal is required
Practical proficiency with both CNC mills and lathes is necessary
Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical machining data
Competency in utilizing various precision measurement tools
Strong mechanical intuition and a sharp eye for detail
Reliable professional with a dedicated approach to work
Ability to contribute to the success of a collaborative manufacturing team
