Are you interested in supporting modern digital tools across the Commonwealth? As an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1 with the Enterprise Solution Office, you will collaborate with users and technical teams to build solutions that keep information organized and accessible. Step into a role where technology, creativity, and problem solving work together to support agency goals!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the design, development, and improvement of Power Platform and SharePoint solutions that help streamline business processes and strengthen collaboration. As an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, you will perform the following duties:

Solution Development: Design apps, forms, and automated workflows that support business needs across the organization
SharePoint Design: Create sites, lists, libraries, and page layouts that improve how information is stored and shared
System Integration: Connect Microsoft 365 tools and external systems to support accurate and efficient data exchange
Security Governance: Maintain proper permissions, follow data policies, and support compliance requirements
Platform Monitoring: Review system performance, storage usage, flow activity, and updates to ensure smooth operation
User Support: Provide training, documentation, and assistance to help users adopt new tools and improvements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

This particular position also requires two or more years of full-time professional experience with Power Platform administration.
This particular position also requires two or more years of full-time professional experience with Microsoft 365/SharePoint Development.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
