Major Responsibilities: The Day Services Associate is an energetic professional who will protect the rights of the participants of Inspiration Ministries so they can achieve their individual THRIVE goals. The Day Services Associate will support participants in living spiritually, physically and mentally fit lifestyles that align with their personal THRIVE goals. He/she assists in planning and implementing a variety of programs both in the facility and in the community that reflect the interests and value the beliefs of each participant, thereby providing life-enriching opportunities for those who participate in such programs. Programs should educate participants in leading healthy, social, nutritional, spiritual and active lives.

Education and Experience Years of Experience 

2 years working in CBRF or LTC experience preferred.

Education 

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in a related field preferred (COTA, Physical Education, Outdoor Recreation, Recreational Therapy, Social Services)

Certifications & Requirements

Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push, pull and manoeuvre 125 lbs in wheelchair.
Ability to transfer participants with assistance.

Work Location: In person
